Neon Signs
Neon Signs

Switch Box Soldering
A personal project where I was able to apply some of the electrical engineering principles I have learned was through the restoration of these two neon signs. When I received them, both signs were malfunctioning, as some of the tubes were not lighting up. I was able to test each tube with a working transformer by disassembling the sign and running each piece individually to determine that there were no cracks in any of the tubes, which led me to the conclusion that the issue was the transformers themselves. After replacing the old transformer with a new one of similar specifications, I was able to solder the necessary connections and reassemble the signs to give them a new life. The restored products can be seen to the left in fully functioning condition.
